Singing Lessons in Berlin – Pop, R&B & Soul

Want to sing higher without pushing? Finally a stable mix, powerful belting, or clean riffs & runs? Or simply find out what's in your voice? That's exactly what my singing lessons in Berlin-Tempelhof are for – personal, technically grounded, and always close to the music you love.

What to expect in lessons

I work with modern, voice-healthy techniques: CVT (Complete Vocal Technique) and Estill Voice Training. Instead of off-the-shelf exercises, you get tools tailored to your individual challenges – range, breath, vocal qualities, effects, stage presence. Everything is applied directly in real songs, so you can use what you learn straight away.

R&B and soul are my home, but I teach across all popular styles – from pop to jazz. Preparing for performances, recordings or auditions is part of it too.

Who it's for

Adults and motivated teenagers – from your very first note to an advanced level. Whether you've never had a lesson or you already perform on stage: we meet you exactly where you are. Lessons available in German or English.

Your singing teacher

I'm Roman – singer, vocal coach and active musician in Berlin. I studied pop vocals and music production (B.A., Institut für Musik Osnabrück), release my own music as "Roman Peer", and perform as a keyboardist and singer in Berlin's R&B and soul scene – with touring experience including Mathi, Paula Engels, Katha Pauer and Paula Dalla Corte. This stage experience flows directly into your lessons.

Common questions about singing lessons

  • es, absolutely. The voice can be trained like a muscle – at any age. Most of my students are adults, many of them complete beginners.

  • No. We start exactly at your level – reading music or knowing theory isn't a requirement.

  • First aha-moments often happen right in the trial lesson. Audible, stable changes usually take a few weeks to a few months, depending on how much you practise.
