Your Teacher
I'm Roman – singer, pianist and producer with a B.A. in Pop Vocals and Music Production (Institut für Musik, Osnabrück). Alongside teaching, I regularly perform on Berlin stages myself: with my own project "Roman Peer" and as a keyboardist in the R&B, groove and soul scene, with touring experience including Paula Dalla Corte and Katha Pauer.
In my lessons, one thing matters most to me: giving you the tools to express yourself musically – freely and independently, no matter what level you start from.
Location, Prices & How It Works
Lessons take place in my professionally equipped studio in Berlin-Tempelhof, one minute from Westphalweg subway station (U6) – also easy to reach from Schöneberg, Mariendorf, Steglitz, Kreuzberg and Neukölln.
Trial lesson (45 min): €30 – booked and paid online via TidyCal (PayPal)
Single lesson (60 min): €75
Monthly membership, every two weeks: €100 (2 × 45 min) / €130 (2 × 60 min) – your fixed slot

We play or sing a bit together, I get a sense of where you're at, and we figure out what you want to focus on. You leave with a clear idea of what lessons could look like for you – no strings attached. If you decide to continue, the €30 trial fee is credited toward your first month.

The trial lesson (45 min) is €30. A single lesson after that is €75 (60 min). For regular lessons there are discounted monthly plans: €130/month for biweekly 2 × 60 min, or €100/month for biweekly 2 × 45 min. Other rhythms on request.

No. Lessons work from absolute beginner level all the way up to audition prep. In the studio you don't need to bring anything – piano, microphone and everything else is here.

You decide freely whether to continue. If you do, we agree on a fixed slot and you choose between single lessons or one of the discounted monthly plans. If not, you still leave with a few useful ideas to take away.

You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before the lesson at no cost. After that the full amount is due – this protects the dedicated slot I'm holding for you.

Yes, absolutely. My studio is professionally equipped – we can write, record and produce your own songs together, either inside the lessons or as a separate recording package. Just let me know if you're interested and we'll figure out the best setup.

Adults and motivated teenagers – from absolute beginners to advanced players who want to refine their sound. The fit is especially good if you're into pop, R&B, soul or jazz, or if you're preparing for live shows, recordings or auditions.

Usually every two weeks – that's enough time to practise between sessions and works well for most students. If you'd like to work more intensely, weekly lessons are possible on request. Slots are fixed and predictable, so you can plan around them.

The Intro Call is a free, 15-minute phone conversation. We talk about what you're looking for, I explain how I teach, and you get a first sense of me – but we don't play or sing yet. It's useful if you're not sure whether it's a fit. If you'd rather jump straight in, book the trial lesson (45 min, €30).

No, I'm afraid I can't offer home visits. Lessons take place in my studio in Berlin-Tempelhof – it has everything we need (piano, microphone, recording equipment) and lets me schedule reliably.
